Evolution of Technology: Things to think about

I can’t help but get nostalgic when I remember the good old days when people use to burn the telephone lines with their conversations, play board games with families and friends, as well as embark on a new outdoor sport in the hope of becoming physically fit. These activities may not have been entirely a thing of the past, but I can’t deny the fact how these were changed by the evolution of technology. In just a short span of time, new-age technology has left its mark on the different devices that influence the way how we perceive ourselves and our surroundings. Surprisingly, some of us can’t even seem to live life without technology. Back in my younger years, my friends and I were fond of visiting our school library especially on Fridays, wherein we borrow four to five books with the help of library cards. With this, I can’t help but wonder if the kids of the new generation are still doing the same thing. Surely, there are still a few who frequent the libraries or else libraries would have long been gone.
